If an approved CNA from another state wishes to work in Minnesota they need to apply for endorsement. The applicant must obtain an Interstate Endorsement Form from
Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Completed form must be submitted with required documents such as: (1) CNA Training Certificate, (2) Active CNA Certification as a proof that an applicant pass the State Exam, and (3) Currently be in good standing on the nursing assistant Registry from applicant’s home state and have worked a minimum of 8 hours as a nursing assistant in that state in the past 24 months.
